Using Stretchsit Cushion while driving

Hello,

I recently purchased the Stretchsit cushion to help me with an uncomfortable seat / headrest in my car.

When I am merging on to the highway or switching lanes, I usually bend forward so that I can see the blind spot in my left mirror. This means my back has to come off of the cushion in order for me to do this. Since my back is off the cushion, will this mess up my position on the Stretchsit Cushion if I am frequently bending forward and then leaning back?

Thank you!

Hello,

Congratulations on getting your Stretchsit Cushion! First, I would check if your car seat is not pushed too far back.

1) Adjust your backrest to create a 90-100 degree angle.

2) Slide the seat forward so your arms can easily reach the steering wheel. Of course, maintain a safe distance from your airbag.

If you come away from the backrest, you can use your breath to lengthen the spine. Breath in deeply to lengthen your torso and hold on to that length while you hinge back and re-attach yourself to the Stretchsit Cushion. Make sure to practice this a parked car, safety first!

Hope this helps.

If you leave the backrest will your back pain increase?
