This is one of the most challenging everyday challenge for the back! If you are very flexible in your external hip rotators and hamstrings, you can manage to do this without rounding your back. Otherwise, there just isn't a great way. If your back is injured, you may want to treat yourself to professional pedicures...
No, bent legs while sitting on a chair and bending with as flat a back as possible towards one foot. Or, also sitting, and then bringing one ankle up across the other knee. Either way take a fiar bit of external hip rotator flexibility.
