I have recently been reading about the postural advantages of sleeping in a Mayan style hammock. What are your options on this?

I have been meaning to ask the same thing after reading this article:

The best sleep I can remember used to be in a motorboat...
Since I am still struggling to get adequate sleep I'd be very interested in your thoughts.

This is a really interesting topic. Thanks for contributing, Erika. There is definitely something soothing about a hammock. Maintaining a J-spine may be a little tricky, but I think if you position your body on an angle (rather than along the midline of the hammock) and perhaps use the aid of a small folded hand towel just above your sacrum to help you maintain anteversion, it could be very comfortable. I love sleeping outdoors and feeling so connected to nature :)
