Shoulder rolling forward during side stretchlying
Hello!

I am really trying to get these 8 steps working! I sleep well on my side however I can't seem to keep my shoulder back in position. I do the shoulder roll, and I try to place my arm in such a way that it keeps the shoulder back, but invariably, my shoulder rolls forward. Any suggestions? Thanks!

This is a common problem when you first try side stretchlying. Try using a pillow/bolster/partner(if you have one) to help keep your shoulder from rolling forward. You can also use your knuckles on the bed to help hold your arm back in place. Eventually, especially if you are practicing shoulder rolls in the day time too, your shoulder will get used to staying back in place.

I was having the same issue.  Sideways I just wanted to go into that fetal position but it's coming I'm happy to say.  I guess just relearning a new habit. I'm encouraged.
