Tucking pelvis/no gap

I don't get a gap between my back and the bed when stretchlying, I don't know if the bed is too soft so so it fills up the gap or if I'm tucking my pelvis. I've tried to put my thumbs in my iliac crest. And I also feel like it's physically impossible to not tuck your pelvis when putting down your lowest vertabrea.

Hi peekaback,

Yes, because a bed is soft, you won't feel the gap between it and your lower back. You want to think about putting down your vertebrae starting from the midback up, rather than from the lumbar vertebrae. The best way to assess whether your pelvis is tucked is to imagine you have a tail: is it pointing down into the bed (anteverted) or more towards your feet or knees (tucked).

Best wishes,
