Hi,
when standing/sitting/ walking are our knees and thighs meant to be touching/close together or shoulder width apart? are our feet meant to be facing straight or slightly outwards?
Thank you.

Dear Farhana,
Thanks for your interest in the Gokhale Method. When you are sitting and standing, you do want your legs to be hips width apart. You need that distance so that your pelvis can fit between your legs and you can have an anteverted pelvis. When you are walking you want your legs to be closer together. We teach walking with each heel touching the same imaginary straight line and feet in a kidney bean shape so you might think of your feet creating a herringbone pattern on the floor. The kidney bean shaped foot is made by keeping the front of the foot straight ahead, toes lightly gripping the floor and moving the heel slightly inward. Angled kidney bean feet should maintained in sitting, standing and walking. They are always a part of healthy posture. If you can take an online introductory Gokhale Method course you will get to learn and/or review many of these important aspects of the Gokhale Method.
i hope this is helpful.
stay safe.
