I will be taking a 9 hour red-eye flight to Europe this summer and I am looking for a travel pillow that will best follow the Gokhale principles. The typical u-shaped pillows create too much curve in my neck and I find them very uncomfortable. I found this well-reviewed travel pillow online, the Travelrest pillow.

Any thoughts about what might work best.

Hello Shelby-
Thanks for your question; I agree with you regarding the curve in the typical travel pillow. I like the U shaped pillow so that your head can be supported to either side. I know that Esther will sometimes sleep using her pull down tray table and hip hinge forward. She elongates her spine and supports her face. Your U shaped pillow can also do that if arranged around the face.
I hope this helps. Have a great trip.
PS: Don't forget your stretch sit cushion for sitting and to use your innner corset for take offs and landings to protect your spine.
