Is stretch-sitting practical for you?

I'm trying stretch-sitting. I find that I do not sit in one position for long, so I have to start over quite often. In other words, if you reach for something or move away from your chair back at all, obviously you're not going to be "hitched" any longer.  It just doesn't seem very practical for every-day work life. Do others have this problem or is it just me?

Hi Lucien,

If you are participating in activities that are taking you away from the backrest quite often, then Stacksitting may be a better option for those situations.  With Stacksitting you will be able to move around, Hip-Hinge, and reach for things without having to worry about un-hitching from the backrest.

Stretchsitting is ideal for tasks such as driving, using a computer, reading, etc.  Something where you know you won't be pulled away constantly.

I hope this is helpful.

Warmly,

Charlene Hannibal
