I've been working on getting better posture while deadlifting but it seems no matter what I do I can't seem to get away from straining my lower back. I focus on getting exterior rotation of my knees and kidney beaning, maintaining my J-spine bracing my core/inner corset and hip hinging but no matter what I do I can't get away from the pain.
when I try and do more of a romanian deadlift and really focus on hip hinging it seems like I'm shearing my lower lumber too much. Its been getting better because i've gone down on wait and really focused on my form but not sure what I'm doing wrong. any resources/suggestions?
thanks!

If it's causing you pain no matter what, might want to go single leg dumbbell dead lift. You didn't indicate if you have taken the foundations course or not. I would highly suggest it and then really work hard at perfecting your inner corset creating the internal support for your spine. Perfect your form with extremely light weight that gives you no pain and take the course, it really works!
