Chair For StretchSitting
Hi,

I have a chair similar to this that I use in my home-office (not that color though  :) )

http://www.ultimateback.com/product_detials.php?id=188

Will it be acceptable for the StretchSitting step because the backrest is to high and I won't be able to feel my skin roll off? Or because of the cutout for the buttocks? Do I need to get another chair to use on a daily basis in my home office? Or can I perform the step successfully with a chair like that?

Thanks!

The key aspects of stretchsitting are that you have good length and a decent shape in your back. You might need something at the midback level (towel, blanket, Stretchsit cushion) to hook to but otherwise the chair looks okay. It's not so important that you feel the roll of skin as that there is a roll of skin. Feeling it is only useful for learning purposes. You can learn on a low back chair and then apply the same technique to this chair.
