Teacher training?
Hello! I am excited about your program. I am a massage therapist and see the results of poor posture every week. My question is, do you provide training in your methods so that a person can become certified to teach? Thanks, Kris

Good timing. We have just launched our program. Please look on our website at http://www.egwellness.com/instruction/professional_teacher_training.html and don't hesitate to ask questions. We are SO excited that there will soon be teachers around the world teaching our Gokhale Method Foundations course.

Oh, I'm sorry if I didn't notice that! How exciting. It looks like the best thing for me to do is take the 101 class in Boston in May and take it from there. (I live 13 miles from Boston.) I'm serious about pursuing becoming a teacher in this, as I've been looking for something that would be truly effective to help my massage clients. I have lots of questions, but for now I'm going to continue working on the book and saving for the tuition for the Boston course! ;D Kris

Cool! I think MT's are particularly well-positioned to do this work. We have the theory part pretty well-documented in the book, slideshow (that we provide our teachers), scripts and online workbook that students use alongside the course. The part that teachers need to be especially good at is the hands-on part, recognizing what is going on with people's bodies and caring for people's best interests. We look forward to your joining the team in the future.
