Kid's Chair

Suggestions for chairs for an 8 year old? I'm thinking a smaller body might require a different kind of chair?

Hello Lisa,

in my experience children usually sit without backrest. In this case I recommend a wedge shape pillow or folded towel to support a proper pelvis positioning. Child can than be upright and relaxed. Also feet should reach the ground. 

If you are looking for a chair to use the backrest, than adjusting any chair with Stretchsit cushion should work very well also with children. Might be a need to bend a cuhion due to shorter trunk. The chair should in and case provide a space for bottom (a Stretchsit cushion provides it automatically), if a child lean back or stretchsit. If you use no props, the shape of a chair should be sth like this:
