I am in the last week of the 15 minute/day review nuggets program and am getting a little overwhelmed again by all the details. It would be helpful to me if there was a short daily exercise video that I could do repeatedly to help reinforce learning, strengthen and stretch muscles. Granted, I could make up a routine myself, but I am trying to set myself up for success here and know that I would be much more likely to just follow along with one from Esther or another teacher. Also, if it were too long, I guarantee I would find excuses not to do it! 15 - 20 minutes would be optimum. Perhaps there could even be more than one video so I could do one for a week and then switch to another. I agree that it would be hard to condense everything to a short routine, but every little bit helps. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks very much for the thoughtful feedback! It sounds like the DVD would be a great option for you. The DVD (found below) can act as a referece guide so that you can review the techniques at your own pace, only moving on to the next step when you feel ready. Alternatively, the videos in the Online University, which you already have access to, are a great option for learning at a slightly slower pace.

Your feedback has been passed along to the team so that they can take it into account when preparing additional events.
All the best,

Thank you for your reply. What I was hoping for wasn't really an instructional video, but more of a daily exercise video routine of stretching and strengthening that would be about 15 minutes long. I could learn some basics by watching the instructor as I followed along rather than by explanation. More of a repetitive "kinesthetic learning" with bonus strength and flexibility building. Does that make sense?
Thanks again, KN

Hi KN,
Esther does host 15 minute exercise / posture videos each day as part of the Posture Challenge that you mentioned in your first message. Just so that I understand correctly, you are requesting a series of daily stretching and strengthening videos that focus on one topic per week, rather than one topic per day like the current challenge does?
If this is correct, I can voice this feedback to Esther and the team so that it can be considered for a future challenge series.
Thanks
Jacob

Yes, I am missing my yoga and other exercise classes right now. My idea is two or three 15 min videos of just exercising and stretching with instructor demonstrating proper alignment and selecting exercises that help with all those tight hamstrings, glute strengthening, etc that we all have trouble with. Not explanations of underlying skeleton, etc, just doing the workout. A "daily dose" of exercise.
Not that I don't like the series she has been doing right now, I continue to be a faithful participant, I love the explanations and images. I hope she continues with it for a long time. The other would complement it and provide reinforcement of the repetitive exercise that is needed for positive change.
Does that make sense? Thanks for your reply. Kathy

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the clarification, I have added this idea to this list so that it can be considered by the team.

I would also like a video like this. I was looking for a general 10 minutes warmup exercise I could do each morning but then I thought maybe there would be something that was oriented toward the Gokhale method. I didn't find anything. When I went to ask my question, I saw this. So I won't bother posting my own question, but I do want to voice my desire for one like this.

Hi Becky,
Thank you for reaching out. Here are a couple of videos within the Online University that focus on the topic that you mentioned:
https://gokhalemethod.com/video/stretch_strengthen
https://gokhalemethod.com/video/creating_exercise_regimen
In addition, I reccomend checking out Eric Fernandez' exercise class:
https://gokhalemethod.com/gokhale_exercise
Eric's class focuses on exercising and moving in a healthy way, and his classes might be a good source of inspiration.
I hope that these reccomendations are helpful.
All the best,
Jacob
