My daughter is 18 yrs with an S curve that is abt 51 degrees on top and 47 degrees below. Her doctor is recommending spinal fusion surgery.
The Gokhale method was recommended to me recently by a biomechanical engineer who said the Gokhale method can correct scoliosis curves over time. I have been working through the book 8 steps to a pain free back.
Please may I know if it is safe for my daughter to try the exercises in the book before we sign up for lessons.

The exercises are safe for her but I would recommend you learn them with the guidance of a teacher.
