I attended the Gokhale Method Foundations classes with Kerri Robinson. I have had lifelong back pain and have always thought that's just the way it was. Kerri showed me that returning to the posture that nature intended can take away back pain, which it did: it is hugely reduced and getting better. The class is well-documented with videos, demos and hands-on teaching. I learned incredibly useful techniques that are literally life-changing. I feel great and am going to continue with the online University.

Five-plus! Just completed Foundations Course with Kerri Robinson. I am so thankful that the Gokhale method exists! It is the only thing that has made any sense after 15 years of trying everything for back and hip pain. I feel as if I am finally learning how to use my body effectively--and without pain. The results are a bit miraculous while at the same time being grounded in everyday movements. I wish this class could be taught in schools so that young people could build these lifelong habits of movement early in their lives. The three day workshop with Kerrie Robinson in Washing state was really rewarding and I am embracing the stretch sit position as I write this. Kerri was a very good teacher and patient with us. The Gokhale Method aims to support positive posture change, by learning from and following posture from earlier times and more traditional cultures. I have found it to be most valuable, and the training is supportive to effectively correct habits which are not healthy. I am fortunate to suffer neither pain nor restrictions to physical activity. As to personal foibles, that is a different matter! However, my wife does suffer from chronic back pain and has invested in Ms. Gokhale’s book and videos, and practices the techniques, as I do, at her invitation, which I find hard to refuse. I thoroughly enjoyed the Gokhale Method Foundation course with Kerri Robinson. She is an excellent teacher, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and is able to explain the techniques in various ways as to make them accessible to everyone.
I have been working to improve my posture through reading the Gokhale Method book, but coming to an in-person class has been so much more helpful. Kerri is warm and friendly, and her gentle hands-on patient approach has really helped me to improve my understanding and to begin implementing the Gokhale Method.

I have had back pain for maybe 10 or so years on and off, with episodes of being in bed for days. Now that I've had to Gokhale class, I understand the anatomy of and the exercises/postures to support the spine. I took the class live, which allowed me to see others and differences in people as well as getting the individual attention that only live can offer.
