The Gokhale Method aims to support positive posture change, by learning from and following posture from earlier times and more traditional cultures. I have found it to be most valuable, and the training is supportive to effectively correct habits which are not healthy. This method should be your first step in moving towards less pain and improved flexibility and strength, regardless of what your activities are. My in-person instructor was Kerri Robinson in Washington state, who is empathetic, organized, and clear in her teaching, and was willing to give additional instructions after class to ensure I didn't miss anything.
