Peter Stuart Ward's testimonial about Kerri Robinson

I am fortunate to suffer neither pain nor restrictions to physical activity. As to personal foibles, that is a different matter! However, my wife does suffer from chronic back pain and has invested in Ms. Gokhale’s book and videos, and practices the techniques, as I do, at her invitation, which I find hard to refuse. Nevertheless, she considered that personal instruction would be invaluable and booked us a recent weekend Gokhale Method Foundation Course, instructed by Kerri Robinson, in Mukilteo, Washington. Prior to the course, Ms. Robinson reached out to us and provided valuable preparation material and instructions, which was much appreciated. At the venue, we were introduced to Ms. Robinson and the other three participants, and all outlined what we hope to achieve through our attendance. Ms. Robinson also provided her background as massage therapist and what a dramatic, positive effect the discipline had had on her life. I had expected the Course to be an informative course but it exceeded my expectations. I was able to better understand the various techniques, and how they would adjust my posture in different positions, for the better, and to prolong my well-being as I progress through my eightieth decade. I thoroughly enjoyed the Gokhale Method Foundation course as taught by Ms. Robinson, who is an excellent teacher, with an easy-going manner, empathic, and with a broad knowledge of the Gokhale Method, which she expounds with enthusiasm. Whilst Ms. Robinson was always open to questions, and was expansive in her answers and demonstrations, and allowed for repartee between the participants to generate a relaxed, friendly, and inquisitive atmosphere, she did not allow it to dominate or distract from our purpose, learning the Gokhale Method. Which was occasionally necessary in my case, being someone who is enamored with his own voice and opinions! At the end of the Course, it was a case of ‘parting is such sweet sorrow’, and my wife was already sketching out attendance at future events. Prior to leaving, I was grateful for the handwritten card on which Ms. Robinson had outlined particular areas of attention, from which I would especially benefit in the immediacy, and her explanation of all the numerous, additional resources available to Alumni. In conclusion, I have no hesitation in recommending the Gokhale Method and Ms. Robinson as an excellent teacher.
