Meet Kate
Before learning the Gokhale Method, Kate’s work as a farmer led to some debilitating back injuries that would land her in bed for several days at a time. She now knows how to prevent back strain when performing heavy work on the farm and wants to help all of her students to be able to continue to do the physical labor they love for as long as they like.
Kate found the Gokhale Method via her passion for traditional foods and farming. She first encountered Esther Gokhale at a Weston A Price Foundation conference and knew she wanted to be able to carry and present herself like this woman! As she perused Esther’s book, 8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back, she was similarly attracted to the photos of people around the world—contemporary and historical—working and living with healthy posture, as we are all meant to.
More than ten years since her first Gokhale lesson, Kate now possesses more of that poise and dignity and the uplifted outlook that comes with carrying herself well. Eliminating the lower back pain she’d had since she was a teenager was just a bonus.
Besides working as a regenerative livestock farmer, Kate is also a chef and an avid history buff who is inspired to recover the good things we have lost from our culture. She loves the positive, powerful sense of self that students radiate when they learn the Gokhale Method techniques to become upright and relaxed, taller, stronger and pain-free.

Free Workshops
In these workshops, you’ll start to learn the why and how of the Gokhale Method. Many workshops begin by showing you how to stretchsit. This is a way of sitting back in a seat and giving yourself gentle traction, which eases compression in your spine and stretches out tight or spasming back muscles. In this short amount of time, you will be introduced to techniques to:
- Reduce or eliminate back, neck, muscle and joint pain
- Prevent muscle and joint degeneration and injury
- Increase your energy, stamina, and flexibility
- Reduce stress and improve your appearance
- Effects are often immediate and last a lifetime.
