Gokhale Foundations

I have recently completed the Gokhale Foundations Course with Fiona in Geraldton. I had given up my beloved dancing and sewing because my back just hurt too much. I’d set about a costly regime of remedial massage, osteo treatments and exercise physiology - and had a referral to a spinal surgeon, which terrified me.

Fiona has taught me how to sit, stand, bend, stretch, walk, lie and generally live my life while keeping my spine in its intended alignment.  I have returned 100% to dancing and am sewing again like a fiend.

Fiona Nichols gave me an Alumni follow up training session about 12 months after I’d done the Gokhale Method Foundations Course in Sydney in April 2024.  Although Fiona had just completed her Gokhale method training, I found that she delivered the training professionally, providing clear instructions in a gentle, empathic fashion.  Some of the Gokhale practices such as the ‘rib anchor’ and ‘glidewalking’ I found difficult to comprehend and put into practice after the Sydney course.  However, Fiona was able to provide clear explanations and guide me through the movements so that I now employ...read more

I have done the Foundation course last year with the Gokhale Method online.
