About this workshop

The Foundations Course is a core offering of the Gokhale Method. In six 90-minute lessons, you can change your habits efficiently and profoundly through a combination of verbal explanation, visual materials, and gentle hands-on guidance from a qualified Gokhale Method teacher. All qualified Gokhale Method teachers are personally trained by Esther Gokhale.

COVID-19: All group course students must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of a negative lateral flow test on the day, or by dated photo the day before. If you test positive or have any symptoms and cannot attend you can take the session at another time at no extra charge. Masks need not be worn (unless you wish to) but we will maintain distancing and there will be minimal hands-on work. 1:1 sessions are available to unvaccinated students.

Clare lives in central Bristol, England, and has been interested in causes and solutions to back pain since first experiencing it in her early twenties. Having practiced and taught therapeutic yoga for over two decades, she recognized the innate wisdom and logic of the Gokhale Method® when a student showed her a copy of '8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back’.
