Help others overcome preventable pain
After experiencing the transformative effects of the Gokhale Method in your own body, have you ever heard an inner voice nudging you towards immersing yourself more deeply into the Gokhale Method?
Read on to explore if it now is the time to answer that call and train to become a qualified teacher.
Esther dedicated her book, 8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back, to the millions who suffer back pain unnecessarily. We would love to have you join us in our mission to make back pain rare and the Gokhale Method a household name in the coming months and years.
Our teacher training kicks off with spending 7 full days with Esther Gokhale, immersing yourself deeply in learning how to teach the Gokhale Method, and becoming part of our worldwide community of teachers who are passionate about empowering others to transform their lives for the better.
It’s an incredible feeling when a student finishes a course and writes to say they are out of pain, or that they did not need an operation that they had been told was inevitable, or that the investment in a Gokhale Method course was the best one they had ever made. And the best thing of all is that you are not the person that makes your students better. You train to teach. You are not a therapist. We teach and empower our students to make themselves better by learning how to move as they are meant to.
Our teacher trainee Jaume wrote this about his experience of joining our teacher training program:
As you see, aside from helping others, there is something in it for you: the best way to continue your own posture learning is to teach, to connect with our teacher community, and to continue to learn day-by-day.
Many of our best teachers hesitated to apply for training as they felt their posture was still too much of a “work in progress”. If you have a medical background, experience with body work, massage, yoga or a similar field, it can be useful. However, this is not a prerequisite—many of our teachers come from business or entirely different fields. You do not need to start out with perfect posture or a perfect body. We are all on this posture journey together. What matters most is your commitment to continuous improvement, a passion for deepening your learning, a dedication for teaching, and enthusiasm for building your in-person teaching business.
If you hear that voice, whether it be a whisper or a little louder, we recommend you sign up for a teacher training webinar where we will tell you more about teacher training, the process, the cost, location—and take your questions. If we currently do not have a webinar scheduled or if you can’t join live, reach out to us and we will send you a replay of the most recent webinar.
Here's to the next chapter of your story and the possibility of positively impacting others through the Gokhale Method.
