Spinal Stenosis

I had the good fortune to be referred to Esther Gokhale for help in rectifying a significant distortion of my posture and a severe limitation in my walking due to spinal stenosis and a broken-off fragment of inter-vertebral cartilage which impinged on a sciatic nerve.

As a retired elderly physician, I’ve been impressed by her superb knowledge of her field and her creativity in designing appropriate exercises for various muscular weaknesses I had developed.  Above all, I’ve appreciated her patience and good humor in encouraging me repeatedly in the measures to rectify my handicaps. Since starting to work with Ms. Gokhale over one and a half years ago, I’ve taken no non-steroidal analgesics (previously I would have several episodes a month in which some were necessary), have received non-solicited spontaneous comments from friends and family on the improvement in my posture (a work still in progress) and have resumed walks of some duration without intolerable discomfort.

It’s a pleasure to be able to give her an unqualified endorsement.
