Karen Walker
Karen lives life with energy and intention. An octogenarian, she is grateful to be healthy and fit. A dedicated yoga practitioner, artist, gardener, hiker, and golfer, she brings creativity and curiosity to everything she does. Several years ago, she discovered the Gokhale Method, and it has been transformative—alleviating her chronic neck and knee pain, increasing her stamina, and deepening her sense of calm and confidence. Inspired by the results, she studied more, took teacher training and became a qualified Gokhale Method teacher.
Through the Gokhale Method, Karen learned to understand and improve her posture—building a personal “postural toolbox” that supports physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. She believes this awareness is key to relieving pain, gaining vitality and stamina, and approaching life with joy.
“We live in a sea of gravity,” Karen says. “How we move and rest in it matters. The Gokhale Method helps us healthily align with that force and thrive as we age.”
A seasoned retired teacher, Karen finds great joy in helping others experience breakthroughs. She sees the Gokhale Method as a transformative, research-backed practice that’s accessible to everyone. It’s not just about standing straighter—it’s about reclaiming health, ease and confidence in everyday life.
