A Gokhale Consultation is a good place to begin your posture journey, especially if you have a complex history of musculoskeletal or health problems. You will receive a comprehensive evaluation of your current posture and how it relates to problems you may be having, a projection of what structural changes are possible, and some key ideas and practices to help you improve your structure immediately and long-term.

Learning the Gokhale Method via a Private One-on-One Gokhale Foundations course allows for more flexibility in scheduling, permits your teacher to focus on you for the entire time, and allows for more privacy. Learn the basics of Primal Posture™ and how to apply this knowledge in situations particular to your life. The one-on-one course accommodates people with mild to severe levels of pain, as well as people seeking to improve well-being.

Gokhale Consultation for Alumni is for Gokhale Method alumni who would like to revisit some topics in a personalized setting. You will again receive a comprehensive evaluation of your current posture and how it relates to problems you may be having, a projection of what structural changes are possible as you practice, and some information on where to focus your efforts to help you improve your structure immediately and long-term.

Julie Johnson

Julie Johnson unterrichtet die Gokhale Method seit 2019 mit Begeisterung. 2022 machte sie ihre Leidenschaft zum Hauptberuf: Menschen mit Rückenschmerzen zu helfen. Mehrere hundert Teilnehmer*innen haben bereits ihre Kurse besucht.

Ihre eigenen Rückenbeschwerden führten sie 2016 zur Gokhale Method. Zwei Jahrzehnte lang suchte sie vergeblich nach einer Lösung – Yoga, intensives Fitnesstraining und unzählige Therapieversuche brachten keine nachhaltige Besserung. Doch sechs Wochen nach einem Wochenendkurs Gokhale Grundlagen war sie schmerzfrei. Der Schlüssel? Die Rückkehr zur natürlichen Körperhaltung. Heute ist Julie zertifizierte Shaolin QiGong-Lehrerin, liebt Gewichtstraining und lange Wanderungen und ist kräftiger und aktiver als je zuvor.

Julie hat einen Master of Science und arbeitete 30 Jahre in der internationalen Wirtschaft, bevor sie sich 2019 als Gokhale Method Trainerin qualifizierte. Sie spricht Deutsch und Englisch.


Julie Johnson has been a passionate teacher of the Gokhale Method since 2019. In 2022, she made her calling her full-time work: helping people with back pain. Several hundred students have already attended her courses.

Her own back pain led her to the Gokhale Method in 2016. For two decades, she searched in vain for a solution—yoga, intense fitness training, and countless therapy attempts brought no lasting relief. But just six weeks after a Gokhale Foundations Course, she was pain-free. The key? A return to natural posture. Today, Julie is a qualified Shaolin QiGong teacher, loves weight training and long hikes and is stronger and more active than ever before.

Julie holds a Master of Science and spent 30 years in international business before training as a Gokhale Method teacher in 2019. She speaks both German and English.
