I'm happy to share my experience with the Gokhale Method and the workshop I attended with you two years ago.
I’m sure that anyone dealing with back pain knows how much it affects their quality of life, and many are willing to try anything to make the pain stop. I, too, had suffered from lifelong pain due to scoliosis (in my lower back) and poor posture in my neck area, which worsened during the COVID period. Until then, I had tried many things—workshops, physical therapy, stretching, and exercises—but nothing really helped. So, I attended the Gokhale workshop a bit skeptically, but the pain pushed me to give it a try. And thank goodness I persisted because your workshop changed my life 100 percent.
During the workshop itself, I already felt relief, and with each hour, the pain decreased. It also gave me great hope that you taught us the correct posture for sitting, walking, and lying down, so I could continue helping myself when I returned home. After a year without pain, I decided to take a refresher course (which lasts a few hours) to review certain techniques we learned in the workshop, as it’s easy to forget some details. Now it has been two years since the workshop, and I am pain-free. Even if the pain sometimes reappears, I know how to help myself and identify where I might be making mistakes (in walking, sitting, or posture).
