I am wondering about the position of your head and neck when in this position. Seems to be forward when resting comfortably since the back is at a slight angle backwards. Is this a problem?
Good eyes :) In this particular set up, the cushion is on a slight angle, so the head is not directly over the upper back, but you can chose to have the cushion as straight or angled as you like (you can adapt different chairs with judicious positioning of a folded hand towel between the cushion and the chair.)
As long as your neck is long and not curved, reclining is not a problem, and in fact can be more comfortable for people with some kyphosis than sitting straighter. Let comfort be your guide. You may find that what feels most comfortable changes over time as your body adapts to its new patterns.
