Facility Details: Please bring your sleeping pillows and yoga mat. No need to bring your 8 Steps to a Pain Free Back book. In anticipation of our upcoming Gokhale Method Foundations Course, I want to inform you of the efforts I am making to safely hold this class. We will be outside on my deck, so please dress warm. I am instituting the following precautions for your safety and that of the other participants with respect to Coronavirus transmission: If you have ANY symptoms of COVID-19, and you have not been Social Distancing, please contact me to reschedule you for a future class. Please see below: 1. Please bring a mask to wear during the class, if you do not have one, I will provide one. 2. The space where we will be has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The class will be held outdoors on my deck. 3. We will take everyone’s temperature prior to entering. 4. The class is half the size of the usual class. I will have chairs 6 feet apart for the slide show and discussion. Then for the use of floor mats we will spread out further so that everyone has adequate space.

In six 90-minute lessons, you can change your habits efficiently and profoundly through a combination of verbal explanation, visual materials, and gentle hands-on guidance from a qualified Gokhale Method teacher. All qualified Gokhale Method teachers are personally trained by Esther Gokhale.

Amy was determined to ensure a successful spinal fusion after years of debilitating back and leg pain. She fell in love with her new posture and decided to embark on teacher training to hardwire the Gokhale Method. 

Combining her nursing skills with the Gokhale Method allows her to touch people and improve health. As a nurse, Amy appreciates the accuracy of the anatomy, physiology, and multi-modal approach to posture, pain relief, and fitness. Her background includes a BSN in nursing and a JD in law.
