Put a Spring in Your Step: Glidewalk your Way to Healthy, Pain-Free Movement

About this workshop

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to stride powerfully, completely at ease in your body, and confident that you can get where you want to go? To feel balanced and stable? To move swiftly, easefully, and with no pain?

Join us in this special online workshop where we’ll explore glidewalking—an ancient technique that is so needed in our modern world.

The most common gait we see in our beginning students resembles a series of forward falls, each fall broken by sticking the front leg out to the ground. The impact of each step is a minor assault to all the weight-bearing joints in the body, including the spine. We are not designed to walk this way!

By learning to glidewalk, you can alleviate and prevent conditions such as:

  • Weak or underactive glutes
  • Flat feet, bunions, and plantar fasciitis
  • Chronic hip and knee pain
  • Arthritic joints
  • Balance issues and falls

Small tweaks often give large results, as reported by our student Beverly Hochee last month:

“I am just so excited with the improvements I have had since my consultation. It has only been a little over a week, but already my right leg is much more engaged in the walking process, and my leg is looser in the hip.”

Join Beverly in making your gait healthier in our special online workshop Put a Spring in Your Step. Esther Gokhale will share some key techniques to help you find and strengthen your glutes and make your gait more balanced, powerful, and protective.

Here’s what you can look forward to in this special free workshop:

  • Why and how most people walk poorly
  • How walking well protects and strengthens your entire body, including your back
  • Two powerful Gokhale Method techniques to make walking more healthy and less harmful

We are offering a small number of participants the rare opportunity for personalized walking feedback from Esther Gokhale during the workshop. This is a great way for the whole group to benefit from the expertise of one of the world’s leading authorities on posture and movement.

This workshop will also launch a special, free 5-day walking challenge—each day will focus on one aspect of walking to help you enjoy the great outdoors without pain or discomfort.

BONUS: When you register for this special workshop, you’ll automatically be enrolled in our FREE 5-day Glidewalking Challenge, starting Monday, April 28th. Each day, you’ll receive an email with guidance and a special diary to help you master the key elements of glidewalking, step by step.

“The patients I have referred to Esther have, without exception, found her work to be life changing.”

~Salwan AbiEzzi, M.D., Internal Medicine, Palo Alto Medical Foundation

“Who knew that learning to walk well could change the course of one’s life—even in one’s 60s? For years, I struggled with increasing discomfort in my left upper leg, hip, and groin area during and after walking. The pain even caused my knee to click and my back to ‘go out’ at times, making it difficult to enjoy my daily walks. After learning how to glidewalk, the pain lessened, and I could finally walk pain-free. Six months later, I completed the Gokhale Method Foundations Course and became a teacher, so I could help others experience the same transformation.”

“Extraordinary application of ancient wisdom to solve modern back problems. Esther Gokhale explores intelligently the ancient wisdom accumulated in earlier times and forgotten in the modern world that can help us to improve on our number one way to happiness: health.”

~Luca Cavalli-Sforza, M.D., Professor Emeritus, Department of Genetics, Stanford University School of Medicine
