I have scoliosis of the spine, arthritis in my right knee from a skiing accident, worn out hamstring tendons and had a major repair of my left shoulder after dislocating and fracturing it last year. Eight months ago I studied the Gokhale Method with Cynthia Rose in a small group setting over a two month time period. I have permanently adopted the walking, sitting and bending postures taught to us by Cynthia and find myself, for the first time in years, pain free. Everything used to hurt. Now if something begins to bother me, I do the spinal stretches in bed and on a chair and before I know it, nothing hurts again.
