Meet Michal
Michal holds a PhD in Earth Science and has worked in academia for the past two decades. Her expertise is in human impacts on rivers and restoring them to their natural functioning. Diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease in her 20s, Michal applied her scientific training to finding solutions to restore her own health naturally. Her experiences resulted in a deep appreciation and understanding of the powerful tools an evolutionary approach offers to solving common health challenges. When back pain rendered her favorite activities like cooking and going on walks intolerable, the Gokhale Method, with its focus on ancestrally informed posture, was the obvious solution. Michal’s passion for teaching and her enthusiasm for the many benefits of the Gokhale Method are evident in her classes. Fluent in English, French, and Hebrew, Michal is available for Group Foundations Courses and private instruction in France, Switzerland, and Israel.
Michal est titulaire d'un doctorat en sciences de la terre et a travaillé dans le milieu universitaire durant deux décennies. Elle est spécialisée dans l'impact des activités humaines sur les rivières et dans la restauration de leur fonctionnement naturel. Diagnostiquée d'une maladie auto-immune chronique à l’âge de vingt ans, Michal a mis à profit sa formation scientifique pour rechercher des solutions afin de restaurer sa santé de manière naturelle. Sa propre expérience l'a amenée à apprécier et à comprendre les outils puissants offerts par une approche ancestrale pour résoudre les problèmes de santé courants. Lorsque le mal de dos a rendu insupportables ses activités préférées comme la cuisine et la marche, la méthode Gokhale, qui met l'accent sur les postures observées dans les sociétés traditionnelles, était la solution évidente. La passion de Michal pour l'enseignement et son enthousiasme pour les nombreux avantages de la méthode Gokhale sont évidents dans ses cours. Parlant couramment le français, l’anglais, et l’hébreu, Michal est disponible pour des cours collectifs sur les fondements de la méthode et des cours particuliers en France, en Suisse, et en Israël.
מיכל היא בעלת דוקטורט במדעי כדור הארץ, בשני העשורים האחרונים עבדה במחקר והוראה באקדמיה. המומחיות שלה היא בהשפעות אנושיות על נהרות ונחלים, ושיקומם לתפקודם הטבעי. בשנות העשרים של חייה מיכל אובחנה כסובלת ממחלה אוטואימונית כרונית. בעזרת הכשרתה המדעית מיכל הצליחה ליישם פתרונות לשיקום בריאותה בדרך טבעית. ניסיונה הביא אותה להערכה ולהבנה עמוקה של הכלים העוצמתיים שגישה אבולוציונית מציעה כפתרון לאתגרים בריאותיים נפוצים. כאשר כאבי הגב הפכו את הפעילויות האהובות עליה כגון בישול ויציאה להליכות לבלתי נסבלים, שיטת גוקהל (Gokhale Method) המתמקדת ביציבה קדומה ותורשתית, הייתה הפתרון הברור. התשוקה של מיכל להוראה והתלהבותה מהיתרונות הרבים של שיטת גוקהל ניכרים בשיעוריה. מיכל שולטת בשפות עברית, אנגלית וצרפתית. מיכל זמינה לקורסי יסודות קבוצתיים והדרכה פרטית בישראל, בצרפת ובשוויץ.

Free Workshops
In these workshops, you’ll start to learn the why and how of the Gokhale Method. Many workshops begin by showing you how to stretchsit. This is a way of sitting back in a seat and giving yourself gentle traction, which eases compression in your spine and stretches out tight or spasming back muscles. In this short amount of time, you will be introduced to techniques to:
- Reduce or eliminate back, neck, muscle and joint pain
- Prevent muscle and joint degeneration and injury
- Increase your energy, stamina, and flexibility
- Reduce stress and improve your appearance
- Effects are often immediate and last a lifetime.

A 40 minute online initial consultation is a good place to begin your posture journey, especially if you have a complex history of musculoskeletal or health problems. You will receive a comprehensive evaluation of your current posture and how it relates to problems you may be having, a projection of what structural changes are possible, and some key ideas and practices to help you improve your structure immediately and long-term.
Using modern technology allows a two-way online video/audio communication. Our students have found this to be a surprisingly effective way of getting started or refining their understanding of the Gokhale Method techniques.

Learn in a small group or one-on-one with personalized hands-on help from an expert in the Gokhale Method.
If you’re looking to learn the Gokhale Method in-person, our 6-lesson Foundations course is designed for beginners and can change your posture habits efficiently and profoundly. Taught by a qualified Gokhale Method teacher, it covers all the techniques described in Esther Gokhale’s book, 8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back, and more.
Students receive personalized hands-on instruction, visual cues, and verbal explanations. All our teachers are experts in giving immediate feedback and gentle guidance to ensure you master the techniques correctly.
Learn one-on-one (6x45 minutes) to suit your schedule. Or choose an intensive or weekly small group class (6x90 minutes, capped at 8). Either way, you will receive individualized attention, learn deeply, leading to a life-changing transformation.
