About this workshop

We hope that you have found your Gokhale Method Foundations (GMF) course useful and enjoyable. The experience of our many alumni shows that ongoing practice, as well as learning new and advanced methods, make the experience of the Gokhale Method Foundations (GMF) course even more valuable.

These classes offer refresher training, as well as introduce new and advanced techniques. To ensure the quality of instruction, and to provide personalized attention, they are limited to a maximum of 8 students just like the Foundations Course. Hands-on alumni classes can be taken with any qualified Gokhale Method teacher regardless of who taught your Foundations Course. So if you're traveling to an area with a Gokhale Method qualified teacher, sign up for a class!

Event Description

Feeling like you need a tune up of your favourite Gokhale Method techniques? Or want to perfect your glidewalking for extra power and comfort? Maybe you've got a handle on everything already, no longer have pain, and just want to hang out and talk J-spines with other aficionados! In this first-of-its-kind (in Canberra at least -- I have to admit I stole the idea from Esther Gokhale) we will spend a whole half day revising and advancing our J-spine techniques, plus we'll break in the middle for a leisurely lunch at a local cafe, to just chat and share our Gokhale journeys. We'll be focusing on: -glidewalking -hip-hinging -stacksitting -strechlying on the side -inner corset -and other things at your request and as time permits :) I look forward to seeing you all again!

That's when Tegan decided to train with Esther Gokhale to become a Gokhale Method teacher and share these life-changing techniques with others.

Tegan has a Bachelor of Medical Science with first class Honours and a Masters degree in scientific research from The Australian National University.
