Inversion Tables and Vax-D
What is your opinion on using "Inversion Therapy" and Vax-D to address herniated disk problems?

I just answered a question about Vax-D here: http://gokhalewellness.com/forum

Inversion therapy is a popular traction device that can indeed help to decompress the spine (and decompressing is especially important if you have a herniated or bulging disc!), but you also want to be doing gentle lengthening techniques throughout your day - such as Stretchsitting and Stretchlying. People generally find that just these techniques are enough, and that inversion and other traction therapies aren't really needed once they learn to maintain good length in the spine during everyday activities.
