One more thing, the seat is a softer cushion (hoping it is not too soft, I understood from reading about these methods that a firmer seat is better?), but it does have a firm base and I can adjust the angle of both the seat and the back support. Thanks
Hi Carol, I think it is always best to work with what you've got and try to modify as best you can before spending more money. The stretch sit cushion should work with this chair. I would suggest looping the cushion around the head rest and letting it hang down. You might need to add a layer or two between the stretchsit cushion and the chair so you aren't leaning back. Again, you can thread a towel through the head rest and let it hang down along the front with the cushion on top. I've tried to draw on your photos...please forgive the artistry! It's my first time attemping this with my laptop trackpad! Hopefully it gives you the idea. Let me know if I haven't made myself clear and if it works. All the Best, S.
Thank you very much for your response and drawing to show the correct position. I will order the cushion and give it a try. I look forward to learning more about this method and hopefully attending a course in the future.

Hi Carol, I think it might. Is is possible to upload a photo showing the front of the chair?

Thanks Sheelagh. I've attached a front view.
