I am new on forum.
I have a hernaited l5-s1 disk in low back and no pain going down the leg. Only pain is in lower back on right side and in the center of spine and upper buttocks. It has been like that since last 5 years! my doctor has given me pain killers which did only block the pain. It feels like a freshly cut wound in my low back that is oozing blood! All this after 5 years!
Part of the problem is I have not found a comfortable mattress. I sleep on my side, I weigh 205 pounds and I also have neck pain Because I made amistake of getting my neck pain treated by a chiropractor. He was a quack who only increased it multifold! As years have passed my neck pain has become less but not completely gone. And suffering neck pain since 5 years!
Can someone please help with my low back pain? Thank you.

It sounds like you have been struggling for quite some time now. There are a couple of places where you can begin. Firstly, I would suggest getting a copy of our book, "8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back" and begin with Stretchsitting, Stretchlying (if you can't lie on your back, try the sidesleeping without anteverting the pelvis right away) and the Inner Corset. It may also be useful to attend one of our free online Introductory Presentations. These are an excellent place to have your questions answered, receive a broad overview of the Gokhale Method, and watch some of our techniques in action.
