sleep apnea and stretch lying
I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have problems with snoring, breathing.
Should I just sleep on my side as per chapter 4 of your book? I can't get the CPAP to work for me so I'm just trying to lose weight. I have a 40" waist at 6' tall.
I have a long history of lower lumbar disk issues, L5-S1 partial disectomy two years ago. I have about two to three moderate to severe episodes of extreme lower back pain and currently purchased this book while suffering a really bad episode of lower back pain. I hope your book works for me as I can't afford anymore experiments. I would like to try your stretchsit device but can't get the item in my shopping cart for some reason. I am desparate for some relief here. Thanks for what you do.

Side stretchlying sounds like the way to go. You're not using your CPAP anyway, so you don't have to worry about how it will fit. Losing weight sounds like a good plan too. There is a lot of research showing that sleeping better helps with weight loss (or rather that poor sleep causes weight gain), so hopefully side stretchlying will help there too. Of course, sensible eating and moderate exercise (easier when you aren't hurting, but do what you can) are important too.

If you're having trouble purchasing the Stretchsit cushion online, call the office at 888-557-6788 (888-55-POSTURE). It will help get the pressure off your lumbar disks and allow them to heal.

Glad you found the book - hope it helps you have a more pleasant life journey.
